How to Add a Role

Your role needs an assigned permission to do this. Click here to learn how to view your permissions.

  1. Click Org Tools > Permission Management.

  2. Click the Role Management tab.

  3. Click Add Role.

  4. Enter the role name and description.

  5. Check the box(es) of the desired permission(s) for the role.

  6. Click Create Role.

Permissions Overview

All system sections have their own set of permissions associated with their management. Below, see a list of each system section:

Universal Sections

  • Account and Member Management includes creating, editing, and viewing accounts and members information.

  • Account Notifications manages bookings and class accounts notifications.

  • Account Payment Setup includes adding, editing, or removing payment methods.

  • Billing Manager includes billing items, charge categories management, and billing reports.

  • Bookings manage bookings and appointments.

  • Business Publisher manages business publisher settings and setup.

  • Calendar/Event manages all calendar items, including events, settings, and jobs.

  • Class Management manages all classes, including settings, management, reports, and registrations.

  • Coach List manages the coaches list.

  • Group Billing Admin includes group billing settings, reporting, and account dues/charges.

  • Help and Training includes onboarding dashboard access and the organization set up.

  • Mobile Admin Dashboard manages mobile admin dashboard settings.

  • Org Other Tools include the email center, news, agreements, coaching staff, and board of director management.

  • Org Profile & Settings manages the organization profile and settings.

  • Org Resources includes the organization resources and custom page management.

  • Permission Management manages the organization's roles and permissions.

  • Product Updates view all product updates, including system, content, and communication alerts.

  • SE Payments manages SE Payments setup, payouts, transactions, emails, and alerts.

  • Social Feed manages social feed posts.

  • SportsEngine Motion Invoices manages the organization's invoices and new invoice notifications.

  • Videos manages organization and member videos.

  • Website Editing includes managing website settings and content.

Swim-Specific Sections

  • Swim meet manages meet results, fee billing, and entry fee batches.

  • Time Standards Setup manages time standards setup and reports.

  • USA Swimming Registration manages USA Swimming registration.

On-Demand Sections

  • Affiliation manages curriculum and features for franchisees.

  • Competitive Registration Admin manages member and event registrations.

  • Event Fundraising Admin manages all event fundraising settings and results.

  • Fundraising Obligations manages the account fundraising obligations.

  • Point of Sale includes setup, location management, and sale order admin access.

  • Practices includes all practice creation, settings, and workouts.

  • Service Hour Admin manages the setup of service hours and hours worked.

  • Workouts include all practice workouts and set management.
