How to Split the Online Processing Fee for Fundraising Events

Your org is charged the full credit card processing fee associated with the event, but you will take in more or less depending on the fee you pass on to the donor. There is currently no way to pass along a percentage fee, so we do not recommend passing along any fee because cardholder agreements do not allow surcharging more than what your org is charged.

  1. Click Business Tools > Event Fundraising Admin from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click the event name you want to split the processing fee.

  3. Under Donation Level Setup Area, select the Donor $ option. Enter the amount that you would like to split.

  4. Click Save Changes.
