How to Create a Multi-Class Discount
Updated over a week ago

Discounts created are deducted from the charge amount when viewing financial reports.

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Classes > Class Admin.

  2. From the top horizontal menu, click Settings > Discounts.

  3. Choose the plan you want to create a Multi-Athlete discount for.

  4. Ensure that "Multi-Athlete Discounts (Per Reg & Per Athlete)" is checked.

  5. From the Discount Application, choose either:

    • Tier Discount - orders a member’s classes based on the monthly discountable fees charged for each class and assigns each class to a discount tier. For example, if a member is registered to three classes, the “first” class gets the tier 1 multi-class discount (usually none), the “second” class receives the tier 2 discount ($2.00 in the example screenshot) and the “third” class receives the tier 3 discount ($5.00 in the example). See Discount Order below for more information. This is the more typical option.

    • Total Count Discount - applies a discount based on the total number of classes for which a member is registered. For example, if a member is registered for three classes, each class would receive the 3 class discount of $5.00 if using this example setup.

  6. If Tier Discount is chosen, you must choose the Discount Order. This is the order in which discountable registration, monthly, or other fees will have discounts applied.

    • Lowest Fee is Highest Tier - The member with the lowest total monthly fees will be ordered into the highest tier. For most setups, the member with the lowest total tuition will receive the largest discount, and the member with the highest total tuition will receive the smallest (or no) discount. This is the most typical option.

    • Highest Fee is Highest Tier - The member with the highest total monthly fees will be ordered into the highest tier. In most setups, this will mean that the member with the highest total tuition will receive the greatest discount.

  7. Click + Discount

  8. Enter the Classes Count - this defines the cutoff for how many classes a member must register for to receive the discount.

  9. Choose either Dollar Amount or Percentage of Class fee.

  10. Enter the dollar amount or percentage you'd like to discount.

    • If you choose a dollar amount discount, you will also need to select whether that discount amount will Apply to total tuition, meaning the discount will be applied to the member's total discountable tuition, OR Apply to each registered class, meaning the discount will be applied for as many classes as they are registered.

  11. When finished, click Save. To save your changes to Class Settings, scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and click Save.
