Bill by the Hour Rate Plan needs to be applied to a Class Payment Plan. Payment plans are specific to a class and can contain a Rate Plan and other additional fees.
Only one Rate Plan can be added per Payment Plan, but multiple Payment Plans can be associated with each class.
For example, to create a charge for a new customer and one for an existing one, two Rate Plans are needed - one for each type of customer. You would create/associate a "New Customer Rate Plan" and an "Existing Rate Plan" to the class.
From the left navigation menu, click Classes > Class Admin.
Click the gear icon to the right of the class name.
Click the Class Payment Plans tab.
Click + New Plan.
Enter the plan name.
Click +Payment Plan Item.
Fill out the charge name.
For Charge Type, select Rate Plan.
From the Selected Rate Plan drop-down menu, select the Bill by the Hour rate plan you will have previously created.
Click View Rate Plan to confirm this plan is correct.
You can also click Edit to make changes. For example, changing the First Charge selection.
When finished, click Save.
Click Save & Close.
Now, those who sign up for this class can select this rate plan as their payment plan when registering.
