How to Enable Event Signups by Day/Session

Permissions are required to manage events. Click here to learn how to view your permissions.

When an event is added with an ev3 event file, it defaults to allow athletes to commit to their own events.

If you'd like coaches to choose events but allow athletes to choose the day/session they will attend, follow the instructions below.

When Creating an Event:

  1. Click Events & Competition > Team Events from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click + New Calendar Item > Team Events.

  3. Under EVENT SIGNUP / REGISTER, select the last option, Allow On-line Reg; Meet Manager/Meet Events file to allow On-Line meet entry.

  4. Click + .ev3 / .zip.

  5. Select the ev3/zip file from your device.

  6. Fill in all other data and click Create.

  7. Follow the next set of steps below.

After Creating the Event:

Use this method if you did not set the event's day/session when it was created.

  1. Click Events & Competition > Team Events from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click the desired event.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Click Meet Events.

  5. To the right of the Event Declaration Setting, click Edit.

  6. Change the Allow Athletes to commit by Event? dropdown to NO, Athletes can ONLY commit by Day/Session.

  7. Click Save Changes.
