How to Manage Roles

Your role needs an assigned permission to do this. Click here to learn how to view your permissions.

How to Clone a Role

  1. Click Org Tools > Permission Management.

  2. Click the Role Manager tab.

  3. Locate the desired role and click the clone icon.

  4. Click Clone to confirm.

  5. Make any desired edits.

  6. When finished, click Save Role.

How to View a Role Information

  1. Click Org Tools > Permission Management.

  2. Click the Role Manager tab.

    • The person icon shows the number of accounts with the role.

  3. Locate the desired role and click the eye icon.

How to Edit a Role

  1. Click Org Tools > Permission Management.

  2. Click the Role Manager tab.

  3. Locate the desired role and click the pencil icon.

  4. If editing a system-generated role, click Edit to confirm.

    • The green three-line icon indicates system-generated roles.

  5. Make the desired edits.

  6. Click Save Role.

How to Remove a Role

NOTE: We do not recommend deleting system-generated roles.

  1. Click Org Tools > Permission Management.

  2. Click the Role Manager tab.

  3. Locate the desired role and click the trash icon.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
