When adding SMS numbers to an account/member, you might encounter a carrier that isn't listed. To find the carrier's parent company, you can check the following lists:
If the carrier doesn't appear on one of these lists, they will need to be contacted to see if they have an email-to-SMS gateway that converts emails to texts and, if so, what the address is.
When you send someone a text through the web or app, it sends an email to their carrier's email-to-SMS gateway email address. The carrier then sends a text to that account holder's phone. Note that some carriers prioritize these messages lower than standard text messages, so it may take longer for your message to go through.
