You must have Admin Level - Super User access to verify a mobile number.
Click Org Tools > Account or Member in the left-hand navigation menu.
Choose Members if the mobile number belongs to an Athlete.
Search for and click the name of the account/member.
Fill in the cell number in the Mobile/SMS field.
Pick the cell Carrier for that phone from the drop-down menu.
Click Save. A verification text is sent to the mobile number.
Have the Account/Member check their mobile device for a "Verify your SMS" text. Note that some cell carriers can take a while to deliver the message.
Have the Account/Member open the text and tap the link. If tapping the link doesn't work, have them tell you the four-digit code number in the text message. They will see one of three messages:
"Success! We have validated your primary SMS." The SMS number is verified and ready to receive texts from the team. You may skip the rest of the steps.
"Sorry, your primary SMS has already been validated." The SMS number is verified and ready to receive texts from the team. You may skip the rest of the steps.
"Sorry, the code XXXX did not match any codes." If this happens, click Unverified > Resend Notification and follow the instructions below to enter on behalf of the account/member.
How to Enter a Verification Code on the Behalf of an Account/Member
Click the Unverified button above the Mobile/SMS number.
Enter the four-digit code from their text message in the Verification Code field and click Verify.
You will see Verified in green above the SMS number. You may need to close their profile and reopen it to see this.
