How to Enable Class Makeups

When enabled by a Class admin, makeup sessions are created for a member if:

  • They are absent from their regular slot class time.

  • Their class has a reg slot available on a different date and allows makeup.

Instructors with Email/Print/Calendar + privileges or Superusers can add a member to a class from the Makeup section when taking attendance. Makeup classes are recorded in attendance.

Upon using a makeup session, the count remaining for makeups is subtracted from that makeup session.

How to Enable Class Makeups Globally

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Classes > Class Admin.

  2. From the top horizontal menu, click Settings > General.

  3. Scroll to Default enables makeups: and slide to the Yes option. In the Default makeups for classes, input the max number of makeups you would like to allow a member to accrue for an entire class.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save.

How to Enable Class Makeups for a Single Class

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Classes > Class Admin.

  2. Find the class and click the gear icon to the left of the class title.

  3. Scroll to the class makeup section and create the rules specific to this class. Max makeups are the number of makeups you would like a member to be able to accrue.

    • Note: Choosing "YES" for Reset Makeup Monthly will allow the max number of makeups to reset each month. Choosing "NO" allows members to keep any accrued credits through the end of the class session, but they cannot have more credits than the max makeups.

  4. Once satisfied, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save & Close.
