Before beginning, you will need to have/know the following:
Your business type,
If you have a VAT ID,
Bank account information (sort code and account number),
A recent Bank statement in a digital format.
In the side menu, click SE Payments Setup.
Read through the steps and click Begin.
Choose your organisation type, if you have a VAT ID, the type of processing to enable, and your country.
Read through and accept the Terms of Service.
Enter your First Name, Surname, and email address. Then, select the checkboxes to confirm that you have read and accepted the terms of service and agree to the processing rates/fees.
Enter the banking information for your organisation. You must enter the Sort Code and Account Number, upload a recent bank statement, and enter a statement descriptor.
The bank statement should contain the bank name, logo, account number, sort code, account holder's name, and your organisation's address. The statement descriptor is how your company's name appears on a credit card statement.
Enter your organisation's Legal Business Name or Name on Account as it appears on your Bank Statement.
This name must exactly match the name associated with your VAT ID.
Enter your Companies House Registration Number (CRN). If your company does not have one, leave this section blank.
Enter the Operating Name of your organisation if it is different from the legal business name. If it is the same, then skip this step.
Enter your Registered Business Address.
This address should match the address on the supplied bank statement, even if this is not the location address of your organisation.
Enter the business phone number. Then, if applicable, enter your business website.
A director/committee member of your business must activate this account. Fill in the correct details in the form. If the appointed director/committee member is someone other than you, please ask that person to complete this form.
The underwriting team will review your application. Approval usually comes in 2-3 business days, and you can begin taking payments. In rare cases, you will be notified via email if more information is needed.
Once approval is complete, you will see menu options in the Business Tools tab to update payment settings and view transactions and payout batches.
