TouchPad: Set Up a Network

Follow these steps if you will be using multiple computers to run your meet on TouchPad. We recommend using wired Ethernet connections between the computers because wireless networks can be difficult to set up. You will need a router, hub, or switch to connect all the computers together, such as the one pictured below. Simply attach one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet jack on a computer running TouchPad and the other end to one of the jacks on the networking device. Do this for every computer in the network.

Netgear Switch JGS524

These steps are for Windows 10; they will be similar for other Windows versions. Additional help for Mac users using Parallels is below.

If those connecting to your meet get the below error please read Password Protected Networks

Important: It’s critical that you are not on the same event with another operator at the same time, as one will overwrite the other. Remember, to write your changes to the meet you must move to the next selection you are working on. This pushes the update to the other operators.
