SportsEngine Motion now lets you create endless classes and use subscription plans for recurring billing. Endless Classes do not need an end date, making them a great option for ongoing programs. Creating an endless class is similar to creating a regular class; however, you will want to follow these steps:
Click Classes > Class Admin.
Click + Ongoing/No End Date.
Subscription Plans
NOTE: Proration is not supported with Subscription Plans or Endless Classes.
For endless classes, payment plan items are limited to one-time or Subscription plans. Subscription Plans let you charge members on a recurring schedule based on when they sign up, instead of using the same billing date for everyone. Subscription Plans are only available for Ongoing/No End Date classes. When creating a subscription plan, there are a few new terms to keep in mind:
Subscription Payment Plan Item
A recurring fee that is charged each month on the Subscription Payment Date.
Subscription Payment Date
The day of the month when a member’s subscription payment is due. This date determines when the system generates the member’s recurring payment.
This date is recorded at the time of registration based on the Payment Plan Item
At Registration
Class Start
You can still use the Billing Manager Default option for the subscription payment date.
Move Up Eligibility Report
A feature of Endless Classes is Move Up, a class transfer that occurs when moving between classes using a subscription plan. A Move-Up occurs when a student progresses from one class to the next based on age or curriculum. To easily plan transitions, class admins can run the Move Up Eligibility Report by following these steps:
Go to Classes > Class Admin
Click Reports
Select Move Up Eligibility Report
